Mohbad's mother expresses distress over purported harassment by former spouse and others, seeks intervention from Lagos Governor

 

Abosede Adeyemo, mother of the late singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, known as Mohbad, has appealed to Nigerians regarding alleged ongoing harassment by her ex-husband, Joseph Aloba, and London-based blogger Bukky Jesse, among others.

She accuses her tormentors of plotting harm against herself, Mohbad's wife, Wunmi, and their son, Liam. Adeyemo urgently calls upon Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and President Bola Tinubu to intervene and ensure their safety.

Expressing her distress, she states, "I am bombarded with incessant calls and threats, making it unbearable to cope. Bukky Jesse allegedly shared images of my home with threatening messages promising to track me down wherever I go. They constantly monitor me, intrude on my privacy, and disrupt my peace. This is why I'm sounding the alarm to seek justice for my late son and protection from the Lagos state government against these daily threats to my life and my children's."

Responding to her plea, Ibrahim Koleosho, Publicity Secretary of the Justice For Mohbad Movement Group (JMMG), deems it regrettable that individuals who had previously harassed Mohbad's wife and child are now targeting his mother.

Koleosho condemns the cyber attacks and threats against the grieving family, stressing the need for compassion and respect. The JMMG reaffirms its commitment to seeking justice for Mohbad and supporting his bereaved family.

The group appeals to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and the Nigerian community to stand in solidarity with Mohbad's mother and wife, ensuring their safety. Koleosho urges law enforcement to investigate the alleged threats and hold the perpetrators accountable, emphasizing that justice for Mohbad's soul and protection for his family are paramount.
