Free Naira Marley: After 2 Million Naira Bail EFCC Threatens To Re-arrest Him



Singer Naira Marley has been granted bail by the Federal High Court in Lagos, ChannelsTV is reporting.

Naira Marley was on May 20, 2019, arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on an 11-count charge bordering on cybercrime.
Justice Nicholas Onweibo granted the singer N2 million bail, with two sureties in like sum.
The first surety must be a civil servant from the level of grade 10, while the second surety must have landed property, the judge said.
Justice Onweibo then adjourned the trial to October 22-24 for accelerated hearing.
