Agrictalk show with Afoma is a unique and first of its kind agricultural program coming up in the second quarter of next year.
Agrictalk show with Afoma is supporting Uplifting Youths Through Agriculture (UYOTA) on their forthcoming UYOTA initiative.
I will tell you a little bit about Agrictalk Show with Afoma, it is coming up in 4 segments.
First: UYOTA go outing.
Second: Agricultural event coverage.
Third: Comedy skit to encourage youths to go into Agriculture.
Fourth: Personality Views, mainly to interview the stakeholders in the agricultural sector.
We can't talk about Agriculture without bringing in the Royal Fathers, in 2008 when I travelled to Thailand; I was opportune to visit the late King of Thailand's Agricultural project. King Rama IX. What he did with the government of the day in uplifting the agricultural sector in Thailand is something which every Royal Father will like to replicate in their communities. Coming back to Uplifting Youths Through agriculture(UYOTA), they have two UYOTA initiatives;
First: They want to interview the Aspirants to know what policies they have in the Agricultural sector that will favour the youths in creating jobs.
Second: They also have one million march, the one million march is to create awareness on their slogan which says "No Agriculture No Vote. No Farming, No Food, Your PVC is your voice" but I say to them not just your voice but your strength, so go out there and vote wisely.
