The 2019 edition of the BET Hip-Hop Awards was held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
The 2019 BET Hip Hop Award nominees had Cardi B leading the pack with 10 nods including ‘MVP of the Year, DJ Khaled, Travis Scott, and J.Cole, follow with 8 nominations each and Drake with 7 other notable nominations include Nipsey Hussle who posthumously received 5 nominations.
Lil Kim won this year’s I Am Hip Hop Award.
Sarkodie was also announced as the winner of the Best International Flow category.
Performers at this year’s ceremony will include Megan Thee Stallion, Rick Ross, DaBaby, Chance The Rapper, T-pain, Rapsody, Ybn Ft. Anderson .Paak, Saweetie, Kamillion & Tom.G.
For the first time ever, the 2019 BET Hip Hop Awards featured a live battle rap hosted by DNA, Geechi, Gotti, T-Top & Shotgun Suge.
