According to UNICEF Nigeria, six in ten girls have been sexually abused before the age of eighteen. Trauma, in many instances, is the aftermath of a sexual violence, and the cost of therapy in Nigeria can sometimes be daunting.
To this effect, Stand to End Rape Initiative is establishing the LISTEN Project, aimed at creating a community and building a support network for survivors to jointly receive therapy from a team of trained counsellors, psychologists and psychiatrists
This service is at no cost and is open to females.
The group therapy will hold once a month in Lagos, and you can register here.
