Over the weekend, Nigerian author Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie was a special speaker at the culminating event of Everybody Reads 2019.
For this year’s programming, the event was centered on Adichie’s two works, Americanah and We Should All Be Feminists. With the selection of two titles, Everybody Reads 2019 offered an opportunity to explore a multitude of issues, including the experience of Africans in America and feminism in the 21st century.
For the event, Chimamanda who is always one to showcase Nigerian designers with her style wore a unique dress from rising brand Nola Black‘s new collection
The white dress shirt was paired with black leggings and black boots by the author.
